The rare Nautilus~
And I got to hold one! I know I'm a lucky ass *___*

To me, it felt like holding a beating heart in a shell, for I felt the nautilus' pulse as it's tentacles wiggled and hyponome pumped water in and out to propel itself, in all it's magnificence

Living at the very briny depths of the oceans of down to 300 metres, the nautilus are considered as the living fossils of today.

At night these creatures rise up to about 100 metres to feed, moving about the deep with their naturally built-in jet propulsion and buoyancy control systems, enabling them to not only be the predator of the hunt, but to slip away from sticky situations.

This is the stuff Star Wars is made of =]

I think I did a pretty good job with this shot
*pleased!*

That's amazing. A diver's wet dream, pretty much.

If there weren't so many stupid people, the world would be so much more serious. Thank God for idiots.

And I'm the lucky fool who got to live the fantasy!
